Open Question: Signing up for Verizon tomorrow– good idea?
My family is switches service from T-Mobile to Verizon tomorrow because of low signal in our home.
We are planning on signing up for a 4 line talk and text plan and have 1 smartphone on the plan.
I priced it out on VZW.com and it said we would pay around 137 dollars a month for 4 lines unlimited txt and data for 1 phone 700 minutes.
We pay 130 at tmobile (including tax) for 4 lines 700 minutes 1 line of texting and no data.
The 137 also includes our 10 percent discount on the plan and 12 percent discount on data.
Are we making a good choice? The price seems good but does anyone know how much taxes are?

Open Question: Was this sinful what my sister try to done?
She try to lit up candle by taking piece of computer paper,and catching it on fire by turing on the stove.When she put the paper on the stove,it caught on fire,and it almost went out of control.Thankfully she and her other stupid friend managed to put out the fire before it could spread causing the house to burn down.We live in Mobile home that could easily burn down in 10 minutes.My mom left to do some errors leaving us in charge.My sister is 14 almost 15,and her friend the same age as she is.My heart fell when i saw the paper catching on fire because i thought it was gonna burn down the entire house so i almost freak out.Are girl today really that stupid,and immature like i know we did`t had any lighters,or matches around but still though why did she used the stove,and computer to used it as torch in order to lit up the candle that we had.Was it sin for her to do that?Are girl today really that immature,and stupid?What is your opinion on this?

Open Question: Can my mother make a claim to "total" her home (trailer)?
My mom is living in a trailer her now ex-boyfriend convinced her would be a great idea. Now- it's falling apart. There are at least 4 occurances of total sub-floor failure, the roof is leaking, it has gotten shifted in windstorms, and god only knows the horror show underneath- damage we aren't seeing.
A friend of mine suggested claiming the mobile home as a complete loss on her homeowners insurance.
Can anyone give any guidance on if this is a good idea- she is scared to talk to her agent for fear he will drop coverage on the place. So I want to make sure she is informed.
Any help is appreciated.
State is Missouri- and there is no one specific event. It's just falling apart.
Upkeep has been attempted but as she was laid off a year and a half ago- she can't afford the repairs that need to be done. Neither can I.
Repairs have been done as best as they can, I fear its not enough.
