Open Question: Legal Emacipation Of Minor?
I am thinking about filing paperwork for emancipation of minor.
Minor is 14 almost 15 in less then three monthes.
Heres why?
Possible mental abuse Which will be denied by parents
Minor recently found out there has been marijuana within household
Not for sure whether using or saleing point is its in parents posesion
I hate this behavior and think parent are irresponisble.
Parents are claiming fiancial aid from governement.
In the past there has been hard times where parent should not of had custody. Minor loves parents but does not want to be involved or around such behavior. There is constant disagreement between parents. Mother calls minor many time during day to find out what the father is up to and giving list of what needs to be done. Minor hates being controled and treated like trash by the parents. Minor loves mother very much. There is not much food in the household many times throughout the month. House is trashed and a mobile home.
Minor does not want to live with another family member for will be seperated from friends and support. Minor could get a job and a place.
Found nice apartment of only 500 monthly with cat allowed. I love my cat lol. Anyways do you think there is any chance could file papers without parents permission. If not could i file and have great chance of judge in my honor. Or should I call police on suspicion of marijuana use in the household and then file for emancipation?
Please Help! Minor Is responsible and mature thats why seeking other options then being affected by such behavior of the parents.
